I’ll be participating in #Dungeon23 in 2023.

What is Dungeon23? It’s the mindchild of Sean McCoy, the creator of Mothership, who provides details here. Mizirian’s Garden spoke more about it here.

Basically, you will create megadungeon, one room at a time. It will only take a couple of minutes a day, as you steadily create a massive dungeon over the course of the year.

So, that’s what I’ll be doing! Starting January 1, I’ll begin. Each week will be a new section of 7 dungeon rooms, and each month will be a new level of the dungeon. I’ve found some really useful D100 tables from Azukail Games, the Donjon random dungeon generator can create some good inspiration, their random treasure generator could be useful, and beyond using the graph paper to map it all out, I can then recreate that in Dungeonscrawl.

Now to figure out why my megadungeon exists. What caused a 365 room dungeon to be created? We’ll have to see!
