We’re Back!
I am moved into the new place, after SO much work, and am working on getting my office/game room set up. It’s nice to now have a dedicated space for gaming.
Now I just need this Corona Virus to end so I can have people over…
As I’ve been moving in, I’m also finding that when everything was in the garage, I had plenty of space! Here in the house? Not so much. I’m going to need to start paring things down. But only a little.
We’re utilizing the Home and Garden cube organizer shelves for all RPGs, books, and board games. They’re very spacious, and have a lot of space up top for displaying all kinds of terrain. These shelves are 13 inches tall, wide and deep. This one shown here is a 4×4, I have a 3×4 next to it for non-gaming books, and will be installing another 3×4 for the board games.
I’ve also gotten a 4′ foldable poker table, as well as a card table to turn the middle of the game room into a full game table. I’ll be able to use it for war-games like A Song of Ice and Fire, 40k, or Mordheim, or for all kinds of board games and RPG sessions.
The whole closet is filled with plastic drawers which hold Heroclix, Crimson Skies, lots of terrain and miniatures.
In addition, my desk hosts my 3d printer, as well as a permanent paint station. I’ve gone through all the paints and colored the tops to make them easier to identify.
I can’t wait to show off the office once it’s completed. It’ll be a fantastic space for gaming for years to come.
