D&D Creature: Cacophonous Wretch
On Good Mythical Morning, Rhett and Link had Joe Manganiello on where they played a game guessing if a monster from D&D was real or not. There were some pretty cool ones in there, but I really liked the fictional creature they were quizzed on, the cacophanous wretch. Here’s the text that was read:
“A cacophonous wretch is an undead humanoid being that has been reanimated irresponsibly. Spiteful and weak, they cannot sustain themselves alone, so travel in groups of three to seven and attack primarily through pure volume of their endless screaming which can disorient and render some unconscious.”
You can watch the video here. Below is the creature I made based on the description above.

Creatures of Hate
Cacophonous wretches are created when a necromancer, knowingly or unknowingly, creates a zombie from the body of someone who died while consumed by hatred. When they rise, they maintain some semblance of a zombie, but their mouths dislocate and hang open, and they begin screaming in fury. Few necromancers will keep them nearby due to the noise they make, and instead use them to deter adventurers from finding their way into their lair.
