The Song of Goldmoon

My first exposure to D&D was in the 90’s with The Dragonlance Chronicles. The whole series features a lot of poems and music, and one of the most well known is the Song of Goldmoon, which tells the story of Riverwind being sent off to search for old magic.

I’ve recently taken the guitar back up after about 10 years away from it. I was really surprised at how quickly I was able to pick it back up.

I knew I wanted to learn the Song of Goldmoon, as it appears in the Dragons of Despair adventure from 1e AD&D. Some of the chords are a little tricky, so I modified it a bit, and figured out exactly how I wanted it to sound, and began practicing.

It didn’t take long, and I now present the song we’ve all read in our youths.
