Heading to Busan, South Korea
In January I’m headed out to Busan, South Korea, for almost a year for work. Away from my family, I’m planning on taking along a lot of miniatures and paint to try to finish all the models I own.
In addition, I’m going to be using the time to plan out the ultimate Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign. I’ll be assembling detailed lists of NPCs, house rules, side quests, and anything else I can think of, so that when I return, my home group will get the best experience possible. I don’t ever get time to really prep my games to this level, so I plan on creating the ultimate experience.
I’ve gotten hooked up with three different Facebook groups: Tabletop Gaming in Korea, D&D in Busan, and Busan Board Gamers, which all are pretty busy communities, with lots of Americans and English-speakers, so I should be able to find a group to play in. I don’t intend to run anything, because I want my DMing focus to be on Dragon Heist.
Finally, my intention is to get some game writing done. I’ve got a whole list of stuff to develop, including my DM’s book, completing the Curse of the Blackwinter Court adventure, finishing up my button-based game (more on that soon), and more. I’ve got a whole Google Drive list.
You should also expect to see a big uptick in posts from here as well. While I was in Bahrain over the summer, you folks were getting posts every three days or so! I hope to get that going again, and scheduling out posts for further out, so even when I’m back, we’re still producing longer-term content.
Keep rolling 20’s!
