Ghostbusters (2016) for the Ghostbusters Board Game

I really enjoyed the new Ghostbusters movie. My only gripe is that I wish it wasn’t a reboot. There didn’t seem to be a reason they couldn’t have kept the same script, while having it be a new franchise opening up after the last one ended up going bankrupt or something. In my mind, they’re all part of the same universe.

With that being said, we were watching Ghostbusters a month back or so, and I realized there was no reason we couldn’t have the new Ghostbusters to play in our Ghostbusters board game (Review in the link)! I found Crooked Dice, who make a set of “Paranormal Exterminators“, perfect for our needs! They are now ordered and on their way to my house, but in the meantime, I needed new cards!

I’ll likely change the background on these, so that they can be played alongside the other Ghostbusters, rather than in place of. That said, I did just end up reskinning the base set’s Busters, so there are no mechanical changes. It’ll require a lot more play of the game to come up with my own balanced versions. Enjoy.
