More Star Wars d6 Templates

Here’s another set of Star Wars templates.

I’ve gotten a system for them now, in that I can usually knock one out in about a half hour. The changing art for different genders is nice and quick, so when I have two genders, it takes about 45 minutes.

I’m continuing to work my way through. I’ve realized that the Force-using classes take a little more work, as they need room for their Force powers, as evidenced in the Alien Student of the Force.

I had a comment yesterday from Wayne, who wondered my reason for including so few skills.

It was a design decision I made, for a few reasons. One, it saves space to not have all those blank spaces. Two, similar to how many D&Ders are switching over to the Essentials, I wanted to keep the core concepts of each of the Templates as core. In other words, your character can improve as much as he wants, just within those skills. Want to have other skills? Play another template. There are plenty of them to choose from. It makes the Templates similar in concept to the Classes of other RPGs.

You can, of course, always right new skills on the back of the sheet.

In any case, here are some more sheets!

These are excellent, great job. I love things like these that add flavor to a game way more than a bland, boring character sheet.

This is really remarkable. Be careful, though. If you put up stuff that’s of this quality, you’ll probably have someone from one of the D6 forums hitting you up to do art for their book. :)

I didn’t do the art itself. I just did the layout. The art is from the Star Wars Artists Guild

I always thought the character sheets for a SWRPG should look like the card from a figure pack

Hey, this is great stuff! A friend and I are just about to start up a campaign with our daughters (and potentially wives), and things like this will do wonders towards capturing their imaginations.

By any chance, you wouldn’t be doing any player-character droid templates, would you?
(Big hint) My daughter is thinking about playing an R2 unit…

I definitely could. That could be fun. I think I’ll do that sometime soon!

What perfect timing! I’m getting ready to track down a copy of the old rule books (and maybe some WOTC minis) and introduce my kids to the classic d6 Star Wars RPG.

These character sheets will be PERFECT for them. Are you planning on making any more?

I’ve got a few half-finished ones sitting around that need to get finished. Are there any Archetypes in mind you’d like to see made?

Knowing my kids, they’ll want the Kid or an Ewok. ;-)

I’d rather see a Smuggler, a Pirate, a Failed Jedi and a Minor Jedi. I love the option of both male and female characters sheets.

These are awesome!!!! A couple of friends and I got together, looking to go down memory lane and start a Classic/West End SW campaign and these CharSheets are just superb!!! Everyone decided to use your design!!! Now I have a question, could you let us know the font you are using? I have a couple of players who want to add some skills, and we wouldn’t want to spoil the look with different fonts…Thanxx!!!!

The font is Copperplate Gothic Light. Glad you enjoy it!

I love these templates. As a kid, I used to play d6 all the time, and right now I’m running a game of 8 players who are al knew. These really helped me get them into the game right away.

Hi! Since we just got a new group together to play this terribly old game I stumbled upon your excellent creations while looking for sheets. They are at least as awsome as playing D6 again :-)
    But I’d like more!
Since I don’t believe you’re in a rush to put out more, how about sharing your templates?
    Thumbs up!
