Great Eagles Paper Minis
Number of Views :988So, the original plan for the players to leave the Skytop Monastery was to have them flee on Great Eagle-back. That didn’t happen, but I made up a sheet that I planned on cutting out, gluing to foamcore, and mounting on flying stands. This would allow the players to actually place their minis on the eagle’s backs, as well as room for goblins riding giant bats to hop off their bats and onto the player’s eagles.
This is still in the works, so eventually the players will end up in this situation. Until then, I’ve decided to provide you all with the page of eagles! I took some images off the internet, mashed them together, and created these. Do as I said above, and you’ll have some nice minis. Enjoy!

Amazing. You took the biggest issue of flying combat and instead focused more on the mounts. Great work. I think i’ll use this as soon as my game allows.
Also, what happened to the 4e Link’s Awakening? I was really enjoying that series.
Thanks for the comment.
I’ll get back to the Link’s Awakening at some point, but I wasn’t getting much feedback at all. Good to know someone was reading it though. It’s encouraging.
Ah, I usually read your blog from my phones Google Reader, took me this long to figure out that touching the title brings me to the page and lets me comment. otherwise I would have done so much earlier! XD
But yes, I liked how you were breaking down the complex dungeons into encounters, each not missing the key elements of both LA and 4e. I was hoping for the end of the series, I have my fiance who wants to get into Tabletop, and she loves LoZ, so I figured this would be a great way to get her in.
