Gamma The World

With some money coming in from per diem from a recent business trip, I think I’ll be picking up Gamma World. After all I’ve read about it, I’m really looking forward to giving it a spin. I’ve always been a fan of post-apocalyptic, and I’d like to explore the zany aspects of it.

There’s been quite a few people wondering about miniatures for the game, and I’ve found one of the best options may be One Monk Miniatures. Jim over there has some incredible apocalyptic minis, including yetis and sentient plants. Even some giant birds with laser guns! Sound familiar? As soon as I get the game, I’ll definitely be getting these printed out.  And keep in mind, all of the One Monk Miniatures are absolutely free.

What resources would you advise people get for Gamma World? Any online tools to make things easier? Leave a comment!

Perhaps a bit cyber-punky, but the models from the miniatures game Infinity are all incredibly cool: http://www.fantization.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=31

A miniature line I like and use for our Necromunda games is Foundry’s Street Violence.

For more of a strange, alien set of minis, check-out AE-Bounty’s line:

Any of the Reaper Chronosphere stuff could work:
