I’ve actually been up to quite a bit in the last week or so. Here’s the breakdown:

Dungeon Tiles
As mentioned in a previous post, I’ve begun collecting Dungeon Tiles, and have a tub filled with them now. I’m looking forward to getting back to playing some D&D so I can whip these out and start using them. I’m really excited for these new Master Sets, including the City set. I don’t have any of the city tiles, so I’m looking forward to actually having the ability to run a game inside the city with dungeon tiles. I think I’ll probably pick up about three sets of the City.

3D Cardstock Terrain
Speaking of cities, Gamefiend fromĀ Sly Flourish posted up, on twitter, some pictures of Orcus destroying a town, and I noticed his cardstock buildings. It inspired me, and in the last 24 hours, I’ve built an entire tavern interior, featuring stairs, tables, chairs, a bar, a fireplace, wine racks, and more. Also, I’ve built four buildings, including some cottages and a small church. I’ve had these sheets of paper sitting around my place for a long while now, I just haven’t had the inspiration to get them built. I’m on a binge now, so I’m knocking out as much as possible. My only problem? How do I get those tiny chairs to stand up to a slight breeze? They fall right over! I’ll get pictures posted up soon.

Mouse Guard
I’ll be running a game of Mouse Guard over at Unique Gifts and Games on the 17th. It’ll be a little one-shot game, where I’ll have five players in attendance. I joined up with the RPG Chicago Meetup group and very quickly filled the spots. Hopefully everyone shows up! I’ll be using this opportunity to see about recruiting players into my group. We’ll be playing in Winter of 1152, but I can’t go into much more detail, since the players may be reading. Shhh…

The Iron Dawn
It looks like the game is going to get off the ground, with all but one of my previous players joining the group. We’re playing over on RPOL.net. I even made an opening crawl!

And that’s about it! Been keeping myself busy.

Keep rolling 20′s!
