Clarity on Parting with 3e

I realized I didn’t fully clarify yesterday, in reference to my post Parting with 3e.

I’m not getting rid of all my books. Only the ones I truly know I will never use ever again, not even if I went back to 3e to play again. The Complete series? Nah. The Races series? I’m fine with those presented in the PHB. I’m still keeping the core books, and source books that I can use in 4e and other RPGs.

As a side note, in regards to those books I sold, I’m sending them out to a buyer in Williamsburg tomorrow morning. I’ve already gotten the check, and plan on going to Atlantis tomorrow to order a new copy of Savage Worlds (since my copy’s binding fell apart) and probably the Fantasy supplement. Perhaps I’ll preorder the Superhero supplement that comes out April 16 as well. I may have to pick up some SAGA edition books. We’ll see.

I did the same as well. I kept the core books, Rules Compendium, Expanded Psionics Handbook, All 3e Eberron books. Everything else can go.

By the way, when you buy another copy of the SWEX, make sure it’s the 3rd printing, which has errata and better binding.
