Pictures from my Computer: War of the Lance

While on deployment in 2007, I would get really bored sometimes. The mere mention of the idea of a new campaign would get my mind racing. So naturally, I would put together images in photoshop of the upcoming game. Whether it would pan out or not, I would always have these pictures left behind on my computer.

Bridget got me a new hard drive for my birthday, so I’ve been sorting through old files, and found a bunch of these images from deployment. Over the course of the next week, I’ll be posting up these images and be talking about them: what inspired them, and whether they panned out.

I was planning on running a 3.5 campaign based on Dragons of Autumn Twilight, in which the players would actually play the Heroes of the Lance. Whether they would follow the plot was up to them. This one, sadly, never panned out at all, and didn’t even get past the initial “Wouldn’t it be cool if we did this?” stage.
