I sold some games on Craigslist the other day; Some old board games I’ll never use. I let them go for 25 bucks, which, if you were to buy those games individually, would probably be around $200. But I wasn’t playing them, as I said, and they needed to go.
So what did I do? Naturally, I went to the game store and bought The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide for Star Wars Saga Edition. I only spent about 15 bucks out of pocket, so it worked out well.
Additionally, for my birthday, I got a gift card to Amazon.com, and immediately ordered Martial Power II and pre-ordered Player’s Handbook III. I’m really excited about getting these in. I’ll let you know all about it when they arrive.
Additionally, I downloaded and tried out the Character Builder and Encounter Builder with my DDI subscription. So far, it’s one of the coolest things in gaming, from what I’ve seen. As soon as I’ve built a complete character, I’ll let you know the full details of what I think about it.
the insider is almost fundamental to play 4th (specially the character generator) and the articles are top quality

I’m telling you Mark, you won’t be disappointed with either purchase. Martial Power II has some awesome stuff in it, I particularly like concept of Martial Practices. PBH III has psionics, skill powers, hybrid rules and more. You just can’t go wrong!
Between those books and DDI, it has indeed been a very Happy B-day for you.
