Lords of Dust: Together Again

Our Lords of Dust got back together on Saturday night. It’s been 3 months, and everyone was supposed to be 11th level. A few weeks we got together, and the girls leveled up (me and Bryan had already leveled everything up), but now they needed to choose magic items.

After scouring the book for a few hours, they got all their magic item cards written up, and we were ready to go. Unfortunately, at that point, it was already 10:15 or so, and Bryan had to be going soon.

So we all, instead, told what our characters had been doing in the last year or so since parting ways, and how our characters’ appearances had changed since that time.

I gave them an overview of what their characters were doing the moment we actually begin play next week.

The heroes are on the Lightning Rail on their way to Sharn, where they vowed to meet up once again when they gathered after the year of adventuring on their own.

During that year, Alayah the Eladrin Artificer has been working with House Cannith at exorcising the Hellforged and remaking him into Pillar, a Warforged Ranger. Tana left to explore on her own, and would not be rejoining the party. William joined House Vidalis and became a griffon rider, and Aldan has journeyed into the Shadowfell to find his lost company. Failing to do so, he’s returned to the mortal realm.

I was concerned it would just be another session of character creation, but in the end, the discussion we had gave me some good inspiration for the upcoming games.
