To my Wife
Inspired by this post at Beyond the Black Gate.
My wife is truly startling. She puts up with a lot more than most other wives would, including, but not limited to, the following:
-Puts up with me spending a lot of time at the computer, writing blogs and forum posts and reading other’s blogs and forum posts.
-Spell-checks and edits my posts that I write from work and email home to her to upload onto Dice Monkey.
-Allows one whole bookshelf in our small office to be filled with RPG books.
-Allows the entire side of our walk-in closet to be occupied by board games and boxes of comics.
-Writes her own posts for Dice Monkey.
-Lets me put time aside to record my podcasts.
-Enjoys Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Lord of the Rings and Firefly while dealing with my much more obsessive love of most of them.
-Doesn’t get upset when I hand Gabe a sword and lantern and encourage him to go dungeon delving.
-Listens to me ramble about other’s blogs, my own ideas for new games and campaign ideas, as well as discussing future blog posts on Dice Monkey.
-Puts aside time each week to game and create fantastic adventures with me.
To Bridget Ann Meredith, my gamer geek, on Valentine’s Day: I love you, babe.

Nice, Mark. I’m similarly blessed in that my wife supports all my gaming weirdness. She even plays in one of my groups. Congrats on your partnership, and here’s a salute to spouses who support gaming!
