October 14, 2009 1 Comment MarkSo, as you may remember in one of my previous blogs, I talked about wanting to play more games with big-ass robots. Well, ChgoWiz has answered my prayers! He's come out with a pdf called microMW, where he takes the MechWarrior RPG rules and condenses and simplifies them into an 8-page rulebook. I think I'll give this a try sometime in the future. Now, I've always liked the Mechwarrior Wizkids clix game, and I think that and the microMW game would complement each other nicely. We might see... ChgoWiz, I give this my hearty approval.-Reviews & Culture, You have to check this game out

Thank you. I wanted you to know that the rules have been revised extensively from some playtesting and their “permanent” home will be this blogpost – mediafire changes the URL everytime I upload a revision: http://oldguyrpg.blogspot.com/2009/10/micromechwarrior.html

The biggest changes are how I calculate TNs – based on Stats, as well as modifications to combat resolution. It playtested pretty nicely over the weekend.
