A Day Sans RPG's: Can It Be Done?
Can a day go by without any RPG related content? It’s a good question and not one that I am posing because I have a grudge against or a dislike of RPG’s. But can you go 24 hours without talking about, looking up something, creating something or running something RPG related?
I brought this up to my husband one night over dinner. We were chatting about the blog, an upcoming game and some character creation ideas; and having a great time doing it.
It just made me wonder if between two married gamers could we go 24 hours without it being brought up? So, we planned that this past Sunday would be RPG free. Did we succeed????
No, we failed miserably. About half way through the morning I sort of gasped in the middle of a conversation, “Wait! It’s Sunday, we’re not supposed to be talking about RPG’s! It’s our trial day!” Oops… okay so we decided that since we had remembered we could just continue on from there as though the day was just beginning. It didn’t work. Time and again the conversation returned to one of our favorite topics. Too funny.
We’ve decided to give it another shot… we’ll try again… just to see if we can 
What about you? Have you ever cut it out of your life for a day? Do you think you could? OR is it such a part of who you are that it can’t be closed off for any amount of time? Just something fun to think about!
Don’t think I could, as working on RPG projects keeps me entertained. If I had a bigger library of Wii games maybe I could spend the entire day glued to the TV instead of the computer. Otherwise, nope.
My wife and I can but she’s a super casual gamer. I personally I can’t. It’s the way I release stress of the day.

I probably couldn’t; if nothing else, I’d have to swing by my blog at some point, and pop, there goes the resolution.
Absolutely. I have a lot of friends who aren’t gamers, and a lot of other hobbies. If I spent all day hanging out with my gaming buddies, I doubt I could avoid the topic, but otherwise, no problem.
For me to pull off such a feat hummm I’m pretty sure a 12 step program of some sort would be required and even then it’s iffy
