The other night my Eladrin Wizard kicked Thunderspire Labyrinth ass and took skulls.  Well, actually our Minotaur decided to take the skulls, but the point is… the night’s gaming session was a complete turn about from the past two weeks!  Finally!  It felt so good to really jump in the game and do some serious damage to my opponents.

At one point, and a great moment it was, I Fey-Stepped into a room and decided to land on a table.  COMBAT ADVANTAGE!  And from there I threw at the BBEG my Flaming Sphere, my Shock Sphere, Bigby’s Icy Grasp, Magic Missles… it went on and on.  Not to mention the other Orcs I got to fight.  It was such a turn around.  I even got to use my Sneak of Shadows feat and have incredible success with my dagger.  Then of course… the staff of the warmage bonus on a critical hit when I rolled a nat 20.

It was success.  It was beautiful and it was perfect.

Oh and for all of you who offered advice after I did my dice rolling statistics and when I was speaking of the critical failures of my recent adventures… Thanks!  I took it.  I found a new d20; sharp corners and the numbers were filled back in.  It really did seem to help.  Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

Now… while those might have been the best part and most successful of the evening… the funniest by far was when our Paladin and Cleric murdered 2 slaves hiding in the kitchen.  He missed that they were “groveling” humans and started blasting.  I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes!
