Dreamscape: White Dragon of Death

white-dragoncapuchincaptions-48Last night after incessantly begging my husband I got to play my own little encounter/battle.  I told him that I wanted to use my current character and take something on all by myself.  It wouldn’t count for xp if I was successful nor would it actually kill me if I failed… why?  Because I decided it would be a dream for my character.

Therefore, my husband pulled out the battle map and put my Lv 4 Eladrin Wizard up against a Lv 3 White Dragon.  It began with 232 hp and I began with 35 hp. I would hurl a fire ball at it… It would claw and bite my face. Guess who won?  Not me… definitely.

I did find some pleasure in knowing that I knocked it down to 162 hp before I succumbed.  It was fun. It was action.  Not to mention that I didn’t have to ask anyone else what to do or where to go.  I liked deciding everything for myself and also, knowing that it would be the only encounter I got to throw all of the best stuff at it.

It satisfied my desire to play.  I am thinking that I’ll ask to take it on again and I’ll make it a project.  I’ll keep playing till I beat it.  Of course I may have to wait to level up before I can do that.  But at some point I will!

If it makes you feel better, my group of four had to use most of their dailies to beat a white dragon. Of course, they also routinely get owned by rats and scorpions.. But the dragon, they took seriously.
